Moushumi Kabir, Founder & CEO

A few months after graduation, Moushumi, at her brother's request, developed a web site for his booming real estate business. That one request gave the boost Moushumi needed to form Simply Web. Prior to founding Simply Web, Moushumi worked in nonprofit, government-affiliated and corporate environments, primarily in executive positions in public relations, event management, marketing, sales and program development. She received numerous awards, appreciation and recognition for her contribution in public relations, marketing and sales that include top sales leader award in SE Asia. An avid traveler, Moushumi's expertise stretches from Asia to the US. Moushumi holds a Masters degree in English Literature and a Masters in Information Technology.

Away from company responsibilities, Moushumi writes about current affairs and social issues, contributing to a variety of blogs and magazines, and facilitates workshops that cover such topics as web development, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Moushumi enjoys horse-back riding, travel and the beach.

Oliver Marks, Associate

Oliver Marks provides seasoned independent consulting guidance to companies on the effective planning of 'Enterprise 2.0' strategy, tactics, technology decisions and roll out.

With extensive senior management practical experience in international enterprise collaboration, Oliver previously managed the Sony PlayStation 'WorldWide Studios' collaboration extranet, and has worked with the American Management Association, Sun, Docent/SumTotal Systems, Harvard Business School and McKinsey & Company on major initiatives around knowledge transfer and change management. Oliver writes the popular and influential "Collaboration 2.0" blog for ZD Net and is in demand as a thought leader for public speaking engagements on collaboration. He sits in the Board of Enterprise 2.0 and writes the blog Enterprise 2.0 blog.

Oliver has dual US/UK citizenship and has worked on Asian, European and American global enterprise collaboration, and spoken at various conferences, most recent at Web 2.0 Expo. He is based in San Francisco.

Jan-Paul Kalmeijer, Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Development

Jan-Paul (JP) Kalmeijer, brings nearly 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and new product development at the executive level that span two continents and multiple countries including Italy, Germany, France, England, Holland and the UK.

As former President of Balta Industries in Dalton, Georgia, JP led three U.S. business units to generate $40 million in sales. With responsibility for all sales, marketing, finance and supply chain activities, he boosted the company's overall revenue by a 32 percent average over two years, ensuring profitability when reporting to Floor & Wall Coverings, the $1 billion Belgian-based parent company.

Prior to joining Balta Industries, JP spent over 20 years in Europe leading marketing and new business development for prominent brands in the consumer goods industry, most notably with Black and Decker, where he developed and launched the Piranha brand concept. The result was a boost for Black and Decker to a dominant 55 percent market share in the Power Tool Accessory category. While at William Levene Ltd., JP championed the design and sourcing of over 100 new SKUs of innovative kitchen products, created the award winning 'Flavour Shaker' in collaboration with celebrity cook Jamie Oliver and developed numerous other award-winning products. He spearheaded culture changing concepts and developed quantifiable profitability measures at other companies including Conair Corporation, Michael Page Consulting, and 3M Belgium.

JP received his Commercial Engineering Degree in Business Economics and Marketing from K.U.L. - Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. He fluently speaks three languages, English, French and Dutch, and possesses a working knowledge of German. He serves on the boards of IBANA, the Independent Business Advisors of North America, and NACC, the Netherlands American Chamber of Commerce. JP pursues photography, is a dedicated sports fan and tennis player, and he, his wife and four active children make their home in Marietta, Georgia.

James Frith, Technical Lead

A brilliant coder, James ensures all code is clean and W3C compliant. His expertise in XHTML, PHP, MySQL, Visual Basic and VBA makes him an invaluable asset to the team. James attended Cambridge University in the UK and studied mathematics. His prior experience involve consultation in diverse IT projects.

When not coding, James performs as a trapeze artist and acrobat.
